MCEX is a financial institution approved by an executive order signed by the Chief Executive of Macau in December 2022 and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Macao. Daily Revenue Obligations (DROs)
- DROs are “non-equity, non-debt” instruments tradable on MCEX and represent economic entitlements to the top-line revenue share of consumer stores in China
- Daily cash flow collection and real-time access to daily revenue data through MCEX’s digital infrastructure
Daily Revenue Portfolios (DRPs)
- DRPs are standardized products that are offered and traded on the exchange, representing economic entitlements to portfolios of DROs
- Underlying DRO portfolio of each DRP are carefully constructed and distributed by qualified DRP issuers to entail tailored but well-diversified investment exposures
- DRP allows investors to leverage sophisticated expertise in curating a portfolio and mirror the attractive risk-return profile of the underlying DRO assets
- DRP, enabled by the underlying granularly labelled DROs, can provide targeted exposure according to sector, geographical region, issuers, or any combination of the above
